If hearing the creaky, peaking voice of Daniel Radcliffe is just as important as seeing HP7, the penultimate film of the Harry Potter saga, on opening weekend, visitors to Rome will have no problems getting their Harry fix with today’s world wide opening. Though Italy is famously known for having deigned dubbing into Italian an art form and subsequently creating “actors” out of voices, several theaters through out the peninsula screen movies in versione originale and lingua originale, original language.

For English-language movie fans in search of two+ solid hours in English , is the English-speakers go-to website for the most current information on cinemas featuring films in English, often with Italian subtitles.  For more replete films, whether or not looking for Anglo-American blockbusters, peruse Roma C’e, a  weekly print magazine reinvented as daily website.  And if immediacy is more your bag,  update your address in the GoMovies app for a listing of theaters and their daily programming within a 30 km radius.
