Mark your calendars:   March 17 is Italy’s latest one-off national holiday.  Flag Day ties in with the celebration of Italy’s 150th anniversary, which includes a June 2 festa with heads of state from across the globe.  What this means to Rome travelers?  Festa shuts down everything from shops to traffic, so make sure to check in with NileGuide for updates!
