Are you finding yourself in Salt Lake City this Easter Sunday?  Many Salt Lake restaurants are busy preparing fabulous Easter menus for April 4.  Take pleasure in a special brunch this Easter and sample an array of tasty items from some of Salt Lake’s finest restaurants.  Make sure to call for reservations or at least inquire if reservations are needed.  Enjoy.

Grand America Hotel

The Grand America’s Sunday Brunch is honestly a “Grand” experience.  The buffet features an extravagant array of brunch favorites such as freshly prepared eggs Benedict and made to order eggs plus seafood, sushi and an exquisite selection of deserts including a flowing fountain of chocolate fondue.

The Grand America is Salt Lake City’s finest hotel and brunch patrons are seated in the hotel’s marvelous Imperial Ballroom.  Before of after brunch take a stroll through the hotel’s celebrated gardens and catch a glimpse of the Easter bunny.  The brunch runs from 10am to 3pm and reservations are required.  The cost of the brunch is $45 for adults and 22.50 for children plus additional gratuity.

Snowbird Ski Resort

Snowbird’s brunch offerings are a favorite among Salt Lake City locals and visitors alike.  Both the Aerie and Atrium restaurants in the Cliff Lodge host a special Easter Brunch from 11am to 3pm.  Reservations are recommended and the menus for both can be viewed at Snowbird.

Before heading to Easter Brunch consider rising early for the Easter sunrise service on top of Hidden Peak.  Hop on the tram at 5:45am to watch the sunrise and attend a non-denominational service at 11,000 feet.  Then at 9 am, children under 11 years and younger can hunt for Easter eggs on the plaza deck.  Kids should dress warm and bring a basket to store all their finds.

Café Trio

Café Trio, in Cottonwood Heights, will offer an Easter brunch from 10am -3pm (adults: $25.99, kids:$12.99).  The menu features such items as poached salmon & asparagus frittata, oven roasted New York Strip Loin, Challah French toast, and chocolate covered strawberries.  A regular brunch menu will also be served at Trio’s downtown location.

Oasis Café

The Oasis Café is a fabulous vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant located close to downtown Salt Lake.  The restaurant prides itself on using the freshest ingredients possible and uses locally produced foods whenever possible.

Oasis will host an Easter Brunch Buffet from 9am to 3pm on April 4, 2010 and feature such items as petite omelets, fresh fruits and cheeses, crab cakes, and curried tofu as well as yummy desserts and fresh baked pastries.  Reservations are highly recommended and the cost is $28 for adults, $15 for children, and no charge for children under 6. ]
