Tuesday Night Farmer’s Market Hits Pioneer Park

Events, What's New — By Amiee Maxwell on August 10, 2010 at 4:29 pm

The Tuesday Harvest Market is a a way smaller version of the Saturday Farmers Market and runs from now until October 12th.  Join over 20 farmers each week at Pioneer Park from 4pm until dusk for some veggies and fresh fruit.

I have to admit that I’ve streered clear of the Saturday Market this year not because I’m boycotting fresh local product but because I opted for a CSA instead.  Rather than battle the Saturday morning crowds, I can sleep in or head out of town without missing some fresh goods.

For visitors, the Saturday morning Downtown Farmer’s Market is surely a sight to see.  The market runs on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm until October 18 and features over 250 booths of fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and artisan crafts.

The Tuesday Harvest Market is a much more relaxed and less crowded event than the Saturday Market and a great way to sample Utah’s goods during the harvest season.

It’s interesting and fun to see things from the other side of the gender coin. It’s often not too terribly different. Thanks, friend.

Just to say hello, wonderful website, I adore reading your stuff.

  • *Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
