The Riverwalk area of town will be your best bet to find a bar that fits your party needs. Whether you want to swing from the chandeliers or just have a quiet drink with that special someone. There are tons of bars to choose from in San Antonio but these are some real standouts.

Beer lovers head to the Flying Saucer they have an extensive list from local micro brews to European ales; this is a great place to relax with friends on a famously hot summer night.

If it’s St. Patrick’s Day or not you can get your fill of Irish jigs and pints of Guinness at Waxy O’Connors Pub. You can wax poetic about the tales of your day with friends and strangers alike.

Romance your partner at Swig Martini Bar, this swanky place will have you swinging to jazz and reenacting a scene from MadMen. Located on the Riverwalk its perfect to start your night before getting to rowdy.

Twisted metal with a comfy vibe, sounds like an oxymoron, but Rebar is just that. Previously a San Antonio home, this bar kept the comfy vibe but gave the place an eclectic lofty feel with purple lamps and metal rebar as a decor accent. Go stag looking for love, or cozy up with your honey on a couch for a little necking.

For a LGBT friendly spot check out 2015 Club in the Monte Vista district for a relaxed bar. Its laid-back almost dive bar vibe is great for those looking to hang out with friends after work or for a pre-dinner drink.

Never miss a prize fight or sporting event when visiting San Antonio, TKO’s Sports Bar has strategically placed big screen TV’s for viewing every touch down, knockout or goal. Ladies, don’t feel like cheering on the team? They also have karaoke, pool or shuffle board to keep you occupied.
