I’ll be the first to admit it – I love my food. So when I found out that any UCSD alumni could attend an informational session with The Linkery owner Jay Porter, I got pretty excited (hence, the blog). You see, The Linkery is one of San Diego’s best restaurants – and not just because it’s got quite an extensive menu. They are one of the few to follow the “farm to table” trend here in our beautiful city, and were ever named one of the 100 Best Farm to Table restaurants by Gourmet Magazine. Pretty impressive for just a small, North Park shop.
The February 15th event for UCSD alumni will be hosted at The Linkery, where owner Jay Porter will introduce residents to the fine cuisine he offers up at the local favorite, in addition to introduction graduate students & faculty their urban farming, climate change & sustainability projects.
