Marina Bay Sands official opening
What's New — By mariannerogerson on June 22, 2010 at 6:53 amThe Marina Bay Sands officially opens this week in Singapore. The two-day opening event kicks off tomorrow, 23rd June, with festivities including an evening red carpet event and outdoor concert.
More excitingly, the 55-storey hotel towers will play host to the World Championship Climb to the Sands SkyPark, which will see seven teams of three climbers scaling the 200m-high glass-fronted building, followed by a dramatic finish line sprint across 340 meters of the SkyPark.
The SkyPark will then be open to members of the public from Thursday 24th June. Soaring 200 meters above ground and sitting atop the Marina Bay Sands three hotel towers, the Sands SkyPark boasts a 67-meter observation deck, with stunning views across the city and out to sea. If that doesn’t impress you, then how’s this for fun facts? The SkyPark is longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall and is large enough to park four-and-a-half A380 jumbo jets, or three football fields!
Once fully opened, the 1.2 hectare Sands SkyPark will also feature entertainment options and restaurants, including The Marina Bay Club and The Sky on 57, which will be helmed by Singapore’s most celebrated chef, Justin Quek. Additionally, hotel guests will be allowed to dive into the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height.
Tickets for the SkyPark cost $20.00 are available online for 24th July, and thereafter at the Box office located within the hotel at Tower 3.

Almost all of whatever you state happens to be astonishingly appropriate and it makes me ponder why I had not looked at this with this light previously. Your article really did turn the light on for me as far as this particular issue goes. But at this time there is actually one particular issue I am not too comfy with and while I try to reconcile that with the central idea of the issue, permit me see what the rest of the readers have to point out.Very well done.
