Events, What's New — By mariannerogerson on July 15, 2010 at 3:27 amCalling all budding gardeners – the Singapore Garden Festival kicks off today (15th July) at the Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre, running until 22nd July. The festival is the only one in the world to bring together top award-winning garden and floral designers from around the world, under one roof.
The festival will feature stunning garden displays, unusual plant and floral varieties, innovative and eco-friendly gardening initiatives among others. Aspiring home gardeners will also be able to pick up useful tips from the new home gardeners showcase at the Festival.
Highlights will include ‘Landscape and Fantasy Gardens’ featuring spectacular creations by local designers and top award-winning designers from renowned garden shows around the world; ‘Floral Windows to the World’, showcasing stunning cut-flower displays by floral designers from Singapore and abroad; and the ‘Singapore Orchid Show’, an exquisite display of Southeast Asia’s rich and diverse heritage of orchids.
