The inaugural Youth Olympic Games kicks off in Singapore tomorrow, 14th August, running until 26th August. This huge sporting event will bring together around 3,600 of the best young athletes from around the world, between the ages of 14 and 18.

The young Olympians will be competing for medals in 26 sports, including all-time Olympic favourites such as Gymnastics, Rowing, Athletics, Badminton and Table Tennis, as well as lesser-watched sports Taekwondo, Handball, Fencing and Archery.

The Opening Ceremony commences at 20.10 tomorrow evening, taking place at The Float @ Marina Bay. The two hour long show promises to be a dazzling exhibition of music and colour showcasing local talents and over 5,000 young performers.
