ARTSingapore 2010 launches this weekend at SUNTEC Singapore. This art extravaganza is the region’s longest running contemporary art fair and this year marks its 10th anniversary.

What began with 19 galleries in the MICA Building in 2000 has grown into an art fair of international stature that attracts both collectors and galleries from the region and beyond, and has become known as the place to see cutting edge contemporary art and museum quality pieces in Asia.

As the only major art fair in Southeast Asia, the four day event will see gallery owners, collectors, artists and art aficionados gather to forge business alliances, acquire new contemporary artworks, share ideas and exchange information.

Last year’s ARTSingapore 2009 attracted close to 10,000 visitors, with over $5 million worth of sales, so why not head on down to SUNTEC to see if you can pick yourself up a bargain from what could be Asia’s next big thing in the art world?

Tickets cost $10 with free admission for children under 12 and students.

Opening hours:
8 – 10 October : 11am – 8pm
11 October : 11am – 5pm
