Children’s Gasparilla Parade Promises Fun For Entire Family

The Children’s Gasparilla Parade takes place annually in January. This parade is a great alone is a great reason to visit the area during this time of year.

The Children’s Parade has been part of Tampa’s history since 1947and is a free event in the community. There is also the opportunity to buy bleacher seats for those who want to ensure a great seat to watch the parade.

The parade is scheduled for Saturday January 22, 2011 and in 2012 on Saturday January 21st.

During the parade children will see fantastic floats and marching bands. The parade participants will be throwing beads and candy to the eager children, adding to the fun of the event. There is also an appearance from the famous Gasparilla Pirate ship as well as an extravagant firework’s event which takes place at sunset.

This is a thrilling event for the entire family to share together.
