Formerly known as “Cafe 13″ to locals in Clearwater Ocean Blue Kaiko Sushi Bar and Japanese restaurant has now taken it’s place. There are no longer any saltwater fish tanks greeting you as you walk through the door.  Instead there are big  fish artworks  over the bar.  Seating is still the same.  The outside patio is still inviting with the lagoon style patio. The stream  runs behind it and tall mature trees tower over you. The bar has totally changed it’s menu as well. It’s not just a Sushi place. They have everything from wings to Sushi. They are still also maintaining nightclub status.  After ten p.m. the D. J.  comes on and  livens up the bar.  They also have half price select items on the sushi and appetizers. The new menu consists of a variety of foods such as Shrimp Yukatori which are grilled skewers of shrimp and scallions with teriyaki sauce.  Gyoza are dumplings stuffed with pork. They also have sushi appetizers such as Sashimi which is 5 pieces of chef’s choice. They also carry cooked or raw Maki Rolls. Ocean Blue is open Sunday-Wednesday 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Thursday-Saturday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.
