The Maharaja comes to the AGO

Events, Things to Do, What's New — By jbaynes on February 28, 2011 at 12:11 am

This March, the AGO takes a look at the Southeast with the exhibition: Maharaja: The Splendour of India’s Royal Courts. The exhibit features everything from breathtaking jewelry, to shiny, lavish weapons, paintings and even a custom Rolls Royce Phantom II. Talk about the rich and the famous…

The exhibit also explores furniture and decorative arts from the beginning of the eighteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.

You can come and experience the exhibit up until April 3, 2011, and from March 14th – 18th there will be Maharaja-inspired activities for the whole family. It’s the perfect March break activity for the kids (and – they get in for free).
