For an inexpensive, yet fun night of cheap booze and singalongs to everything from old Rolling Stones ballads to new Lady Gaga hits, BMB Karaoke is for you. You may not know exactly where you have landed when you enter this Korean-style “singing room”, but trust me, it’s a good time. Korean style karaoke or ‘Noraebang’ is unlike the traditional North American type – you and your friends actually rent out a private room with its own high-tech karaoke machine and large screen TV, and rummage through the large book of songs to program your own playlist. There is a bar in the basement to quench your thirst after you have given your pipes a good workout. BMB is open everyday from 3:30pm to 4am, and each person pays $5 per hour. It is worth every penny and the bar is located at 593 Bloor St. W in Koreatown.
