With 600 feet of guarded beach with very shallow water, it's a nice place to splash around and stay cool. One of the very unique features of this beach is that it allows pets, and is fondly nicknamed Dog Beach by area dog owners who visit it often. Both saltwater and freshwater fishing are available.
