While the exterior of Andante Ma Non Troppo is a blend of colonial and republican architecture, inside you'd be forgiven for feeling transported to continental Europe, in particular parts of France or Italy. The cuisine, when you order a la carte, is of course Italian, and very good at that, but this establishment does its big business over lunchtime when public service employees, senators and congressmen slum it into the Candelaria and come up here for filling and inexpensive set meals. Yes, the cost of a set lunch is a little bit higher than neighboring venues, but for the quality and quantity, you'll not complain. The high ceilings, the checkered flooring and fine service all make for a pleasant lunch here in downtown Bogota.
