Mi Perú

  • Cuisines: Latin American
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

    Excellent aji de gallina

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Midweek this restaurant can be busy at lunchtime.

    Description:

    • Located in a town house at the the western edge of the Quinta Camacho park, Mi Peru stands for everything you could hope for. You come here for Peruvian food and this is exactly what you get, no gimmicks. You can try from anything here since the papa a la huacaina and the aji de gallina are particularly good. Of course there are ceviches, jaleas, stuffed potatoes, stuffed peppers and even chaufa dishes to choose from. What is most interesting once you glance away and look at the decor is that the tacky Andean style wall tapestries are in place, the ubiquitous image of Machu Picchu and other nick knacks make this as authentic a Peruvian experience as you are going to find in Colombia! There is even Inca Kola on offer.
