Public Question Asked by User145829 about Bogota
Hi, I'm travelling to Colombia (from the UK) for work later this month and would like to spend 2-3 days horseriding.
I don't want to travel too far from Bogota (3 hrs max) but am looking for great scenery, good food, great riding. Id' be interested in more information. Thanks, Sarah email@example.com

Agree with Camilo... Villa de Leyva is the best option... Affordable hotels, nice food, and you can go by bus... no too expensive...

There's a small town not too far from bogota (about 3 hrs away) called "Villa de Leyva" this is a very popular turistic town, it's safe, and you will find horseriding, beautiful sights and a very good selection of restaurants and hotels. I hope you find this interesting.

Villa de Leyva as everyone else has mentioned has people wandering the streets with horses to rent. Equally you could head to nearby Raquira as well. In that whole area of Boyaca you are going to find it an easy task, but be sure to negotiate the price first, check the state of the animal and then strike a deal!
