  • Boracay certainly comes alive at night and the nightlife is centered on White Beach. Happy hours are offered in most bars along the beach and some seriously tasty cocktails are on offer. Chocolate and banana is particularly good!

Many bars offer live music with local bands and singers crooning away. There are also a few more lively establishments playing more hardcore dance music and with dance floors to party the night away. Bars around Station One and Two tend to be the busier and offer live music. Station Three bars have a more laid back feel. The Red Pirate is a great little chill out beach bar in the area. The bar plays a lot of reggae and tribal music and has a great atmosphere.

Hey Jude and Juice Bar (both in Station Two) are other popular hangouts. Hip-hop and RnB music is the order of the day. Fire poi dancers can sometimes been seen outside the Bamboo Lounge which is a great spectacle if you’ve never seen it before.

A great way to start the night is to buy some drinks, hire a sailing boat and watch the sun go down, then come back to White Beach in time to make the most of happy hour! Luckily, happy “hour” can stretch from 4pm to around 9pm in some bars.

If you’re not up for a big night why not take a leisurely stroll along the strip and just people watch? There are lots of stallholders selling jewelry, sunglasses and other paraphernalia so you can always do a bit of souvenir shopping. White Beach path is another area worth exploring if you're up for some late night shopping.  The path starts at  Station One and ends up by Lorenzo South. Most local businesses are based in this area and are the shops are open late.

Or, if it’s a romantic evening you’re after take a walk along the waterfront – it is a bit quieter than the main strip. The great news about Boracay’s nightlife is that is all very close together so you don’t have to travel far to find something you’ll like.
