Boracay is well set up for tourists and the range of restaurants available reflects this. From large pizza chains to local cuisine there really is a lot to offer.
If you walk down White Beach you will find the whole strip dominated by restaurants. Many offer all you can eat buffets but do check how long the fish has been outside for before you tuck in. The Mongolian BBQ is particularly tasty and is cooked to order.
There is a real laid back atmosphere to the restaurants on white beach and diners will literally be sat on the beach as they eat. However, before you get any ideas of romantic evenings dining on white sand do remember that it is a popular destination and you are likely to be surrounded by hundreds of others with the same idea.
The area behind the beach, D’mall, offers yet more restaurants and snack bars and is equally as busy.
One of the most authentic dining experiences is to go to the local fish market, D'Talipapa, (shuts around 7.15pm) and choose your own seafood. The restaurants around the market are set up to cook your food however you want (they charge by weight).
If you venture beyond White Beach head over to Bulabog and try the Italian restaurant, on the corner by Ocean Republic. They serve tasty and relatively cheap pizza and pasta and it overlooks the kitesurfing beach. On the way from white beach to Bulabog stop in at the English Bakery and sample some of their homemade cakes. Yummy.
Further down Bulabog Beach is Mango Café which sells tasty and hearty food and is a popular hangout for kitesurfers.
