Bordeaux has plenty of family-friendly things on offer; so let the kids run loose and have fun while exploring the beautiful city of Bordeaux. L' Atelier Rouge Tomate organizes art workshops in its office premises. This space nurtures and nourishes people's inherent creativity through exhibitions, events, workshops and more. Paintings, sculpture, design activities are conducted for all age groups. Children can attend a variety of events. Atelier Rouge Tomate is art education in a non-boring manner.
A one-of-a-kind experience, a visit to La Maison de l'Eau is a must. Dedicated to water and its arrival in the city, this building is unique throughout France. Starting on the ground floor, the visit begins with temporary exhibitions on the theme of water. Artists, children and societies regularly exhibit their work here. The first floor presents the water cycle -- one hall charts the natural cycle of drinking water, from harnessing rainfall to water returning to the atmosphere. And kids, big and small, can conduct experiments in a chemist's laboratory and taste different kinds of water.
Bibliotheque du Jardin Public is located in the terrace of the beautiful Public Garden of Place Bardineau. It was opened as the first children's public library in 1949. It has tons of children's books, comics, albums, novels and magazines. Children's plays are staged and a variety of other literary events also take place here. If you want to keep the kids busy for a few hours during your Bordeaux vacation, these family-friendly activities should do the trick.
