This longtime South Shore favorite sees families and couples sit shoulder-to-shoulder in wooden booths while kids gather around the jukebox. In the back, older locals sip cocktails on stools at a tiny, diner-like bar while watching sports. Wood paneled walls, reminiscent of the '70s, make the room seem dark at night. Only thin-crust pizza is served, and with the exception of fresh hamburger chunks and Linguica (Portuguese sausage that's spicier than pepperoni), toppings are standard.

I was back in Ma in October. I had not been to Lynnwood pizza since 1973 when I was 10. I found my way there like I had been there yesterday. It was and still is my favorite pizza handsdown....
