- An elegant eatery sitting in the shadow of Boston's New Statehouse, and serving some of the best French-Italian food around, is No. 9 Park. An experience in dining, this restaurant quickly made a name for itself upon opening in 1998. Their menu changes weekly and is served either a la carte or prix fixe, but be warned either way dinner at No. 9 Park is pretty pricey (3 course prix fixe $69, a la carte entrees $39, 7 course chef's tasting menu is $110 before adding on $74 for the wine pairing). Needless to say, the setting is formal and guests should dress to impress.
