Lavietes Pavilion

• The Lavietes Pavilion has witnessed many interesting games of men's and women's basketball at the Harvard University. Apart from basketball games, sportsmen from baseball, athletics and other sports also come here for practice and games. The Pavilion has a capacity of 2,195 seats. It was earlier known as the Briggs Athletic Center, named after LeBaron Russell Briggs, for his contribution as President of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Later, in 1996, it was renamed after Ray Lavietes, a long-time contributor to University basketball.
