Tips and reviews

Here's what Trippy members say about Paul Revere House:

"Seaport District, sunset cruise, Faneuil Hall, New England Aquarium, The Paul Revere House, Old North Church, North End, TD Garden, Fenway Park, Museum of Science, Prudential observation deck, Back Bay, swan boats, Boston Common, definitely eat in the north end and don't forget your pastry and espresso."  See More

"Imo (solo middle-aged female traveller from the UK) Boston is a very walkable city and its public transport makes it easy to get around if your feet are tired! 1. Walk the Boston Freedom Trail. You don't need to take a tour, even if they have re-started when you visit. The trail is marked in red on the sidewalks and lasts for 2.5 miles, taking you to many of the most interesting sites in the historical centre of the city:"  See More

"It's also a historic area and home to both the Old North Church and the Paul Revere House."  See More

"Don't spend all your time staring down at your map (a big joke in Boston) or down at the red stripe : Especially this part of Boston is beautiful and it has much to offer outside of the church and Paul Revere House; soak in the surroundings and enjoy watching some of your fellow visitors as they have their head permanently bowed to the ground; 6 Finally, take some time to see some of the surroundings, too: the seafront by the New England Aquarium, the parks over the Big Dig, there is a lot to see very nearby which shouldn't be missed in the rush to find this or that historical oddity (which may or may not actually be what you think it is."  See More

"And the trail takes you through the North End, where along side the Old North Church and Paul Revere House are great Italian restaurants and pastry shops and delis and bakeries."  See More

"You don't have to go into all the buildings if you don't want to, but I especially liked the Paul Revere House."  See More

"You can walk any part of the Freedom Trail including a shopping/eating stop at Faneuil Hall and historical stops at Old North Church, Old State House, and Paul Revere House."  See More

"History would bring you to Paul Revere House."  See More

"The North End is a very interesting stop. You can walk the freedom trail, see The Paul Revere House and the Old North Church. It is a nice Italian neighborhood in Boston. There are too many restaurants to determine the best one but Regina Pizzeria is a must and Modern Pastry for cannoli is essential. From the North End you can go to Faneuil Hall or TD Garden or the waterfront. The Aquarium is also there along with pick up for the duck boats and the town trolly. There is public transportation there as well. You will be best off if you don't stay in Boston Proper to take the subway (public transportation) since garages are quite costly and street parking almost non existent! It will be a part of your trip you will remember! If you are a baseball fan I highly suggest visiting Fenway Park even if you are not a Sox fan. It is one of the smallest parks and the tour is interesting and on mine we did get to go to almost all areas of the field. You can't go wrong with Boston there is something for everyone! Enjoy!"
