It depends on what you're looking for! For hot days and lots of Red Sox fans, visit in August, when you can explore Boston's green spaces like the Esplanade. In September and October, college students come back to town, and Boston gets some of the best of New England's foliage in the Public Garden. In the December, the city dresses up for the holidays.
