NileGuide,
I must say that I have loveloveloved going on the Duck Tours & take myself every year without fail. Although I live right in town and am familiar with lots going on around the neighborhoods, one can never know everything & I especially enjoy brushing up on my early American history. Specifically about the Tour: when I find myself in a city with a Duck Tour, I won't leave without going on one! First, you go through the streets of Boston, which used to be under water & is all land fill, quite amazing when you think about the original geography & the ingenious planning & execution of the layout & construction. The driver/guide carries on from there, going down the stone ramp in to the Charles River & past several historic bridges & buildings. Personally, I think going on the water is always a great idea, throw in the information & the fun ~ yes, it's a winner!
