Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese -- Boulder has it all.
With many sushi restaurants to choose from on the Pearl Street Mall, locals have consistently voted Sushi Tora their favorite. A close second and third are Sushi Zanmai, with its wild and largely incomprehensible commentary shouted by the sushi chefs, and Hapa, which is Hawaiian slang for the blending of Asian and American.
Golden Lotus and Tsing Tao are both Chinese restaurants that feature vegetarian entrees. Golden Lotus offers a tasty vegetarian "chicken" that can be used in any of their chicken dishes, including Kung Pao, Sesame, and Schezuan, and Tsing Tao features an all-vegan buffet on Thursday nights.
Thai cuisine is extremely popular in Boulder, so our Thai restaurants are some of the best in town. Khow Thai has been voted Best Thai Restaurant in Boulder Weekly's Best of Boulder County since 2003, so if the locals like it, you know it must be really good. Chy Thai is often overlooked because of its strip mall location, but serves up delicious, affordable cuisine.
Chez Thuy specializes in authentic Vietnamese cuisine, has an extensive menu of seafood entrees, hot pots, curries, and two pages worth of vegetarian options, all of which come in large portions at moderate prices. You & Mee Noodle House serves up some of the best pho in town.
