Weekend brunch is a serious thing in Boulder, and there are myriad tasty options to choose from.
The Greenbriar Inn goes all out with their $28 per person Sunday Champagne Buffet Brunch, which includes oysters on the half shell, other types of seafood, omelets, carved meats, and vegetarian entrees.
Jill's offers fairly standard brunch items including eggs, pancakes, french toast, waffles, and breakfast burritos daily from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Offering a similar selection, Q's serves breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. This restaurant inside the Hotel Boulderado also offers a weekend brunch from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., which also includes soups and sandwiches.
For a less fancy experience, wait in line with locals for a coveted table at Lucile's and be sure to order the beignets (homemade New Orleans-style donuts. Foolish Craig's offers a selection of crepes, omelets, and breakfast burritos. Or, go even cheaper and grab a seat at the ever-popular Dot's Diner, adorned with booths and classic chrome counter stools reminiscent of the Eisenhower era.
