How will you fill the days of your romantic getaway in Boulder? By checking out these romantic things to do. Whether you want active or laid-back, luxury or low-key, these activities will surely inspire some hand holding.
Flagstaff Mountain provides the best aerial view of the city and you can either drive up the winding mountain road or hike up with your sweetheart. There are plenty of secluded picnic tables to share your wine and cheese, or you can step it up and go to one of Boulder's most romantic restaurants, Flagstaff House, located up the mountain.
Tasting delicious food and drink together is one of the simplest, most romantic activities out there. Try the Boulder Creek Winery for a wine flight or Redstone Meadery to sample their honey wine of the gods. But nothing says love like chocolate, so be sure to also stop in the Belvedere Belgian Chocolate Shop just off the Pearl Street Mall.
The Mall itself is quite romantic with its old-fashioned street lamps, flower beds, and street musicians. Park yourselves on a bench to people-watch or grab a drink at one of Pearl Street's many cafés, bars, or restaurants.
For something a little more high-energy, take a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. The drive there is gorgeous and the little town of Estes Park that you'll drive through is full of wonderful art galleries to peruse.
Let the swooning commence.
