Neighborhood Description

28th Street Shopping District

The newly-finished 29th Street Mall has reinvigorated this part of town that was once occupied by a ghost mall. This walking mall is far less quaint than downtown's Pearl Street Mall and is filled almost exclusively by chain restaurants such as Cantina Laredo and high-end stores such as Anthropologie and Apple Store. Within the mall is also a local restaurant, Laudisio, serving tasty Italian food. One block east of the 29th Street Mall is a Boulder favorite, The Walnut Café, which is always busy for breakfast and brunch on the weekends. Just north of the mall is a great local restaurant, Turley's, serving cage-free, vegetarian-fed eggs, local Haystack Mountain Goat Cheese, local Great Harvest Bread, natural meats, and locally-owned Silver Canyon Coffee. © NileGuide
