Downtown: Boulder

At the heart of downtown is the Pearl Street Mall, a 4-block pedestrian mall filled with art galleries, boutiques, and hip restaurants. Sit out on one of the many sidewalk cafés – like Hapa Sushi or Boulder Café – and soak up the warm, Colorado sunshine. On the weekends, the Mall is bustling with amateur musicians, children with balloon animals, street performers, and avid people-watchers. The Mall also hosts a variety of Boulder events throughout the year such as the Downtown Boulder Art Fair and Bands on the Bricks. Although the official Pearl Street Mall is only 4 blocks long, interesting stores and restaurants extend both east and west of the walking portion of the Mall, such as Willow, a local eclectic art store, and the Mountain Sun, a local brewery. © NileGuide
