The little mountain town of Nederland, 17 miles up Canyon Dr., is full of wonderful spots to hike and camp, and is home to Eldora Mountain Resort, NedFest music festival, and a bizarre annual event called Frozen Dead Guy Days. Eldorado Canyon is a short 8-mile drive from Boulder and is a rock climbing and bouldering haven. Oskar Blues is about 25 miles from Boulder in the small town of Lyons, and offers great Cajun food and live music at night. Oskar Blues is also about half way to Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is chock full of beautiful drives and hikes. © NileGuide
