- Islands is a chain of restaurants founded in 1982. Its main motto is to serve fresh food in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The idea of this venture belonged to Entrepreneur Tony DeGrazier. He just wanted it to be a unique place highlighted with a tropical theme. The menu is simple including gourmet hamburgers and specialty drinks. This place has a built a loyal following over the years and the reason is the constant revamping of the menu. Newest additions include few more burgers but the regular fries, salads and tacos still retain their old charm.
