Salvaggio's Italian Deli

  • Description:

    • If you are diet conscious, and sandwiches form your staple diet, then Salvaggio's Italian Deli would be your destination. It is a modest place with just a few tables. But the food is great. The bread used is oven fresh. And they are quite generous with the meats and cheeses layered on sandwiches. And the rates will not burn a hole in your pocket. The owner John Salvaggio came to Boston over eight years back. His small deli empire followed some basic principles with freshly baked rolls filled with quality meats, cheeses and veggies. The breakfast sandwiches served are light and nutritious. Sizes offered are 6 and 12 inch subs. Popular ones are roasted red pepper with fresh mozarella and a bit of Dijon. They are not too spicy so you can enjoy the authentic taste of the veggies. This place will surely help in having the weighing scales tilt in your favour!
