- This cooking campus has turned a chore into a vacation with its five-day culinary courses. Nestled in the foothills of the Rockies, the school combines spectacular scenery with hands-on instruction, making for a memorable experience. The Basic Techniques Course offers three menus to choose from and teaches everything from knife skills, to the secrets of sautéing and braising meats and vegetables. Classes are limited to 12 students to assure individual attention. The five-hour per day sessions leave you plenty of time to explore Boulder. Reservations are required. Lodging is not provided.
