Description:

  • This trail, which begins at Eldora Ski Area, is popular for skiers of all experience levels. For advanced skiers, the trail also provides access to Guinn Mountain and a wide variety of terrain in the Rollins Pass region. Winds and avalanches should be given a great deal of respect above timberline.

Jenny Creek Trail begins to the left (east) of the Ho-Hum chairlift. Ski south along the trees bordering the eastern edge of the downhill beginners slope. At the top of the hill, curve right to follow the trail west through the woods. Please stay on the trail, taking all right turns. At 1.5 miles the trail merges with the old Jenny Creek Road. After about 1.5 miles on the Jenny Creek road the trail begins to climb steeply. Advanced skiers may wish to continue the remaining 1.5 miles to Yankee Doodle Lake.
