Description:

• Skiers start out west on the Middle St. Varian Road. After about 200 yards, fork to the left to take the developed area bypass west for 1 mile. Ski route crosses the road and river west of Camp Dick Campground and continues west on the north side of the creek. About 2.5 miles from the campground, the ski route merges with the snowmobile route and continues 1 mile to the vehicle closure. Skiers may also stay north on the creek and continue on to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. From this point advanced skiers only. Directions: Take CO 72 north to Peaceful Valley (marked on west by USFS sing Middle St. Vrain and park on the old hwy loop.
