- Pawnee Campground is located west of Ward near Brainard Lake. It sits at an elevation of 10,400 feet. Area attractions include fishing, nonmotorized boating, and access to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This is a very heavy use area.
The campground offers drinking water, vault toilets, gravel interior roads, trash pickup. There is a campground host available.
