Description:
- Take the old unplowed Rock Creek road through the Rock Creek Summer Home Group. Take all left forks. After dropping down to Rock Creek, follow the road uphill to an old ski area site. The return trip from the ski area to the parking areas is 4.5 miles. Or you can continue into the Indian Peaks Wilderness boundary (skiers only) and continue to the St. Varian Glaciers.
