  • This horse riding company offers pure mountain authenticity. Tacky souvenir stands selling log rolls and other junk are banned here to assure a true escape into Colorado's backcountry. Wind through pristine mountain country, which allow for occasional glimpses of deer, elk and coyote. Guided rides last one to eight hours. This outfitter also offers overnight pack trips, authentic horse drives, guided fishing trips, and a famous two-hour breakfast ride which culminates with a flapjack feast. Reservations are recommended, especially for the annual spring horse drive, which has limited openings.
