• Cozy, busy, and often with a long line out front (reservations are not accepted), Giampietro is worth the wait. The friendly service and red-and-white-checkered tablecloths make for a pleasant, casual atmosphere, but the Italian fare is what keeps people coming back. The pizza is excellent, as is the baked ziti, and the huge calzones -- essentially a small pizza folded in half -- are a meal that will satisfy just about any appetite, no matter how many miles biked or runs skied. There is a nice wine list, focused on Italian labels.
