Description:
- Back in the day, settlers migrated West and set up shop in an area known as "Colorado's Kingdom." With the boom of mining and gold digging, residents flocked to the area that, until 1936, was never formally admitted into the Union. And thats what this festival is all about: reliving and celebrating the early days of Breckenridge before it was official. Taking place over two days, there is a 5K run with kids' events, a flag raising, and even an outhouse race! Please see website for event times and details.
