• Gamzigrad ancient ruins is a historic site in Serbia worth seeing for anyone interested in history. You can see the place at your own pace. There is a very small museum which disappoints, but ruins themselves are very well preserved and worth it. Don't expect to find a decent hotel in the area. Make a day trip from Belgrade stopping to see a monastery along the way.
