• The Cricketers is a lively pub which attracts a mixture of locals and visitors. It is very red inside - walls, carpets, and furniture - and has a kind of pleasantly cluttered feel about it with pictures on the ceiling, stag heads on the walls, chamber pots hanging off the beams. It has a cosy front bar and a more spacious courtyard bar as well. It gets lively after 8.30pm, when they tend to rid the front bar of most of the chairs and stools to make more space. Beers include Theakstons, Old Speckled Hen, and the usual lagers and stouts. Lunch and snacks are available throughout the day.
