- Although situated on busy Trafalgar Street, this pub could easily remain un-noticed. Established as early as 1790, it's a friendly watering hole for many. Drinkers are usually from late twenties onwards. The crowd can differ greatly, from office workers to real alers and virtually anyone requiring refreshment in a cosy setting. Harveys beers (including mild and pale ale), Addlestons strong cider, Grolsch, Tennants lager and Guinness may be purchased plus wines and spirits. Food is served every lunchtime apart from Sundays. A tempting menu with a range of dishes includes chicken and pepper kebabs with salad fries and chilli dipping sauce or nachos (salsa, guacomole, sour cream and melted cheese).
