Description:

Only 2 blocks from the sea, this small hotel in a restored Georgian building is known for its very theatrical theme rooms, ranging from Moroccan to "Snowstorm" to our favorite, "the Decadence Suite." For those who got off on the movie of the same name, there is always "Boogie Nights." Rooms have queen- or king-size beds. The bar is one of the hippest in Brighton where the competition is severe, and the on-site restaurant is a gastronomic delight with such offerings as seared pigeon breast with grilled salsify and butternut squash, and a fresh pea-and-mint risotto with honeyed parsnip "pearls."
