• This well established restaurant has been in existence since 1977. Recent refurbishment now allows seating for up to 150 curry eaters. The Ashoka is well decorated and smart with a pleasant atmosphere. The traditional, yet extensive, menu offers a good selection of vegetarian and meat options and a choice of fish dishes. Although this restaurant is slightly more expensive than some of the others in this area, the excellent service contributes towards an enjoyable eating experience. Be sure to try the special Sunday buffet lunch from midday-3p. The restaurant is "allergy aware" and will prepare meals to customer requirements.
