• As you may or may not know the Brighton Ballroom has been taken over by Brighton-born Alex Proud owner of the Proud Group. The Brighton Ballroom has been many things but the Proud Group will continue its legacy as a popular live music and retro venue during the Summer, and in Autumn we will also be re-launching as a supper club where Alex has also recruited Michelin-trained chef Finlay Logan. The new venue is providing a Cocktail bar, we also have built in a balcony to provide an upstairs area for customers to watch over the going on's in the venue. When saving Brighton's Hanbury Ballroom from closure in early June, Proud Group reopened the iconic venue with the promise of a gradual yet extensive restoration project. Proud stars this transformation by launching the ballrooms new restaurant and bespoke dining experience. The autumn launch will establish the ballroom as the retro supper club of the south, bringing a touch of old-world glamour back to the historic venue.
