  • Gar's has been serving fine Oriental cuisine for over 10 years. The fantastic smell emanating from this restaurant is enough to make anyone feel hungry. Once tempted inside, light yellow surroundings and Chinese lanterns transport the diner to a world of Eastern promise. Pay no more than £5 for an appetizer or share the special hors d'oeuvre mix including sesame prawns, chicken satay, capital spare ribs and rich squid in salt and chili. Only £12, this starter could be a meal in itself. Why not opt for a three course menu, a great value at £15.50 per head? For those with gigantic appetites the Emperor's menu should suffice!
